  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork or shrimp, soy sauce, rice wine or dry sherry, sesame oil, sugar, white pepper, and beaten egg. Mix well to combine.
  2. Lay out the wonton wrappers on a clean surface and place a small amount of the filling in the center of each wrapper.
